This book was created with the aim of raising awareness and fostering understanding around the important topic of postpartum depression (PPD). It features personal stories from mothers who have experienced PPD, sharing their challenges, emotional journeys, and the ways they have found healing. Additionally, the book offers key facts, signs, and symptoms of PPD, providing a comprehensive resource for those affected or seeking to learn more.

Design Objective:
The design’s primary goal was to create a supportive, empathetic environment for readers to explore the complex emotions associated with PPD. Given the heavy nature of the subject, I sought to use design elements that would bring hope, warmth, and lightness to the book, ensuring that it remained an uplifting and accessible resource.

Design Approach:
The layout incorporates soft, light-colored illustrations that convey a sense of comfort and gentle optimism, creating a visual contrast to the challenging topic. I used subtle textures and calming typography to further evoke a feeling of nurturing support, while still presenting the important facts and stories with respect and clarity.
